Our Second Donation: $260 to Girls Who Code

We hope all the WWDC attendees had an amazing week in San Jose. We'd like to thank the generous people that helped us raise $260 for our second donation, which is going to Girls Who Code

Girls Who Code is about transforming girls lives through code. Our brand reflects the ups and downs, the hopes and defeats, and the bravery associated with a girl’s first experience learning how to code.

We believe their mission is one that is of the utmost importance and we're proud to be doing our part in helping them complete it.

Our first donation: $300 to App Camp For Girls

With the amazing support of Swift Summit and their attendees, we were able to sell enough pins to raise $300 for App Camp For Girls

App Camp for Girls is a one-week summer day program where girls and transgender & gender non-conforming youth can put their creative powers to work designing and building apps. They also learn about about the business of software while being inspired by role models in the industry.

We absolutely love their mission and know their efforts will have amazing impact on the lives of many young women in the future.

Show Us The Merchandise

It's been a frantic rush to get our first set of merchandise made. But I'm glad to see the finished product as its come off the product line. Our first line of merchandise will be jacket pins which have taken over the Apple developer community since WWDC earlier this year. Have a look for yourself.

Up and running

I'm glad to have finally gotten this little project off the ground. I've been wanting to do for some time and am glad that the super nice organisers of Swift Summit have allowed me to use their event as our launching platform. I really think we can do some good with this project and I hope the community welcomes it and takes up the opportunity.

I got some really good ideas in the pipeline for cool merchandise we can sell to raise funds for different community groups. In the mean time, here are the shirts that Garric and I will be MC'ing at Swift Summit in.
